Created on the initiative of a horse riders group from Drôme and supported by the Conseil Général of Drôme, Drôme à Cheval association is providing the promotion of tourism within a département counting about 2500km of waymarked trails.

For more than 25 years, the association has given the opportunity to countless trail horse riders of discovering a territory  located at the crossroads between Alpes and Provence, turning the region to one of the moste favourite destinations for those wanting to enjoy outdoors horse riding.

La Drôme à Cheval gathers a hundred of horse riding centres and hosting providers throughout the département.

Together with the Conseil Général and the Comité Départemental du Tourisme, the association organizes the trails marking, promotes its members & informs horse riders on the existing tours and the available tourist accomodation facilities.
